Public Register:IASC/APP/202513

The International Air Services Commission (the Commission) has given authorisation for Qantas Airways Limited (Qantas) to utilise the capacity allocated under Renewal Determination [2021] IASC 106 to offer code share services with Air France. The Determination allocates to Qantas 250 one-way code share seats of capacity per day on the France Route 1.

The authorisation was given in accordance with the code share agreement between Qantas and Air France, with effect from 23 May 2018.

On 29 May 2025, Qantas provided the Commission, on a confidential basis, a copy of the amendment to the Qantas-Air France code share agreement dated 20 March 2025. The Commission notes that the addition of the third country route, Tokyo (Haneda) – Paris (vv.), will use Australian capacity entitlements on the France Route 1.

The Commission issues Resolution [2025] IAC R03 to approve the use of the allocated capacity under the amended code share agreement, for the airlines to offer code share services on the Tokyo (Haneda) – Paris route (vv), in accordance with the Australia - France air services arrangements.
