On 3 November 2025, the International Air Services Commission (the Commission) received an application from Qantas seeking to vary the following determinations on the Indonesia route:
- Determination [2024] IASC 128 to permit Emirates to code share on Jetstar operated services beyond Denpasar to Singapore; and
- Determination [2024] IASC 113 to permit KLM Royal Dutch Airlines to code share on Jetstar's Cairns-Melbourne-Denpasar and Adelaide-Perth-Denpasar services.
Invitation for Submissions
In accordance with section 22 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites submissions about the variation application. The closing date for making a submission is 18 November 2025.
Update: 11-December-2025
On 11 December 2025, the Commission issued Decision [2025] IASC 221 varying Determinations [2024] IASC 128 and [2024] IASC 113, on the Indonesia route in the manner requested by Qantas. The permission is valid for the duration of each determination commencing from 11 December 2025.
